REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
1. Introduction
1.1 This Refund and Return Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made from Inferno Marketing T/A Fireplace City (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for fireplaces, chimneys, and associated accessories (“Products”) through our ecommerce website www.fireplacecity.co.za. This Policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
2. Consumer Rights
2.1 Your rights as a consumer are protected by the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa. We are committed to honoring and respecting these rights.
3. Returns and Refunds
3.1 If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you have the right to return the Product(s) within 7 days of receiving them, provided that the following conditions are met:
a) The Product(s) must be in their original, undamaged condition, including all packaging materials, accessories, and documentation.
b) The Product(s) must be unused and free from any signs of wear or damage.
c) The return request must be made within 7 days of receiving the Product(s).
3.2 To initiate a return, please contact Fireplace City via email to info@fireplacecity.co.za
3.3 Once the return is approved , securely package the Product(s) with all original materials and documentation, and clearly mark your details and invoice number on the packaging.
3.4 You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the Product(s) arrived damaged or were shipped in error.
4. Inspection and Approval
4.1 Upon receiving the returned Product(s), we will inspect them to ensure they meet the return conditions outlined in Section 3.
4.2 If the returned Product(s) meet the required conditions, we will proceed with the refund or exchange, as per your preference.
4.3 If the Product(s) do not meet the return conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the return and return the Product(s) to you at your expense.
5. Refunds
5.1 If you are eligible for a refund, we will process the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned Product(s). The refund will be made to the original payment method used for the purchase.
6. Damaged or Defective Products
6.1 If you receive a damaged or defective Product, please notify us immediately, preferably within 48 hours of receipt.
6.2 We will arrange for the return of the damaged or defective Product(s) at our expense and provide a replacement or issue a refund.
7. Cancellation of Orders
7.1 If you wish to cancel an order that has not yet been shipped, please contact us immediately. If the order has already been shipped, please follow the return procedure outlined in Section 3.
